1. Who we are
Nexsus ("we", "us") operates nexsuslabs.com and provides website design, ecommerce, software and hosting services to South African and international clients.
2. Information we collect
- Contact & quote forms: name, email, phone, company, project details.
- Chat transcripts: messages exchanged with our AI assistant.
- Payments: processed by PayFast — we never store your card details.
- Analytics: anonymised page views, device and referrer data via Google Analytics 4 (only after you accept cookies).
3. How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and deliver our services.
- To process deposits and invoices.
- To improve our website and content.
4. Lawful basis (POPIA & GDPR)
We process personal information under the lawful bases of consent, contract performance and legitimate interest.
5. Sharing
We share data only with processors necessary to deliver our service: hosting (Cloudflare, Supabase), email (Lovable / Resend), analytics (Google), payments (PayFast). None of our processors sell your data.
6. Retention
Enquiries are retained for 24 months. Financial records are retained for 5 years per SARS requirements.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@nexsuslabs.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
8. Cookies
We use a single first-party preference cookie to remember your consent choice, plus Google Analytics cookies after explicit consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data.
